Dr Diana Mehta is a chartered materials scientist, with 10+ years of experience in the batteries sector. Diana's journey began at Johnson Matthey, a FTSE 100 company, where she led technology transfer from lab to pilot plant for battery material synthesis. Diana moved to Britishvolt and led a large team of scientists and engineers to develop next generation batteries, where she secured £2m in public funding to progress R&D projects. More recently, Diana has been developing a £12m pilot scale facility, at the Centre for Process Innovation, for battery material synthesis, which will facilitate the transition between low-TRL projects to commercialisation.
